Terms of sale and delivery

Below you will find useful information about using online payment. You can read about how we process the information you enter, how you receive your receipt in connection with a purchase and much more. When HVIDSAND is written below, it is used as a synonym for Hvide Sande Hotel.

Payment options

All prices stated in HVIDSAND’s online payment system are, like everywhere else on the website, stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes unless otherwise stated and clearly stated in the situation in question.

Payment is made by using one of the approved debit/credit cards in online payment, including Dankort, Visa, Mastercard and Diners. There is no fee for transactions made through online booking.

Information about online shopping

You can shop safely on the internet through our online payment system. As a consumer, you are generally protected in relation to any misuse of your credit card online, so there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the internet. Shipping and delivery

When booking and paying for a room or apartment, you will be presented with a contract from HVIDSAND, in which the accounts for your purchase are stated. The contract can be printed out from the website after the booking has been completed and will also be sent via e-mail immediately after the purchase if the correct e-mail address is provided by the buyer.

Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at HVIDSAND on the day of arrival (and is completed upon departure on the day of departure). Both of these times are stated in the contract mentioned above.

Cancellation policy
Rules applicable for 1-6 nights

Rooms or apartments booked from 1 through 6 nights can be canceled 5 days before arrival at 11:00.

If canceled later, the customer must pay for the nights

If canceled later than the deadline, the guest pays for the nights according to applicable list prices.

In the event of a no-show, the guest pays for accommodation according to applicable list prices.

All cancellations must be made in writing by email or fax.

Rules applicable for 7-29 nights

Rooms or apartments booked for more than 6 nights can be canceled up to 7 days before arrival at 11:00. If canceled later, the customer must pay for the nights.

If canceled later than the deadline, the guest pays for the nights according to applicable list prices.

In case of no-show, the guest pays for the nights according to applicable list prices.

All cancellations must be made in writing by email or fax.

Rules applicable for 30+ nights

Rooms or apartments booked for more than 29 nights can be canceled with 7 days’ notice.

If canceled later than the deadline, the guest pays for the nights according to applicable list prices.

In case of no show, the guest pays for all nights, according to applicable list prices.

All cancellations must be made in writing by email or fax.

When booking multiple rooms and apartments (Group bookings)

If the customer has booked more than two rooms or apartments, the cancellation deadline is seven days.

If canceled later than the deadline, the guest pays for the nights according to applicable list prices.

In the event of a no-show, the guest pays for the number of days according to applicable list prices.

All cancellations must be made in writing by email or fax.

Registration of information

HVIDSAND registers your name, address, e-mail and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer file. The information is not disclosed, but HVIDSAND keeps the registration for five years.

HVIDSAND uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site.

When paying by credit card, registration is done via a secure server where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet.

Complaint handling

If for some reason you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address or phone number below.

Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself or the product (stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error by ordinary review of your contract. You can complain in writing or verbally. One year after receipt of the goods (stay), the right to complain under Section 83(1) of the Danish Sale of Goods Act expires, unless otherwise agreed.

When HVIDSAND receives your complaint about a product, the complaint will be processed as soon as possible. HVIDSAND will decide whether the received item should be refunded, exchanged or whether a price reduction should be given.
